Applications now open for 2025 OFCAF program
The On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) is open for applications.
This program aims to provide financial support to producers, helping them adopt and implement Beneficial Management Practices (BMPs) that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, enhance production efficiency, and improve sustainability and resiliency on their farms.
Results Driven Agriculture Research (RDAR), selected by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), is the delivery partner responsible for distributing funds associated with this program.
Important eligibility information:
- Projects that only include the water portion of rotational grazing are not eligible for reimbursement.
- Purchases made before April 1, 2025, are not eligible for reimbursement.
- Pre-approval in writing from RDAR is required to qualify for program funding.
Producers are encouraged to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to improve their farm operations while contributing to environmental sustainability. More information can be found, here.
