The Alberta NAWMP Partnership is excited to announce the release of the Landowner Guide to the Alberta Wetland Policy.
This comprehensive guide is designed to help landowners understand their rights and responsibilities when working in and around wetlands on their farm or ranch under Alberta’s Wetland Policy.
The guide provides information on the resources and programs available to landowners, assisting them in managing wetlands on their property. Whether you have wetlands on your land or work with individuals who do, this guide serves as a useful tool for navigating wetland management.
The development of this guide is part of the Alberta NAWMP Partnership’s efforts to address the needs of the agricultural sector. It incorporates input from various working groups and members of the Alberta NAWMP committees since the implementation of the Alberta Wetland Policy.
