Join CCA, ABP for virtual town halls

Please join us for two town hall discussions, to discuss drought and wildfire relief on both a national and provincial level.

Monday, July 19, 2021 – 11:00 a.m. PDT / 12:00 p.m. MDT/CST/ 2:00 p.m. EDT

Please join the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) and Provincial Cattle Associations for a virtual town hall event to discuss the drought and wildfire relief being sought for producers in regions currently experiencing extreme conditions. Following live updates, there will be the opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

After registering, you will receive your link to join online or dial-in numbers to phone in.

Tuesday, July 20, 2021 – 6:30 p.m. MDT

Alberta Beef Producers (ABP) will host a Town Hall on the drought conditions producers are facing across the province. Please join us for short presentations, followed by a live Q&A.

We’ll hear updates and information from:

• Dr. Melanie Wowk, ABP Chair,
• Karin Schmid, ABP, and Stacey Domolewski, Beef Cattle Research Council (BCRC), on production considerations through drought, and
• Agriculture Financial Services Corporation (AFSC).

We welcome attendees to submit questions prior to the town hall for the live question and answer period that will take place. You can submit questions by email, or by tagging us on social media, with the hashtag #ABPTownHall.
