The Canadian Cattle Identification Agency (CCIA) is inviting producers and industry stakeholders to participate in its Livestock Traceability Survey, which is now open.
Earlier this year, CCIA established a CLTS Task Force to better understand the business needs of producers and other stakeholders who use or interact with livestock traceability and information systems. As part of this initiative, the survey was developed to look beyond the current Canadian Livestock Tracking System (CLTS) and identify what users need from future livestock traceability systems in Canada.

The survey will remain open from September 25 to November 25, 2026, and is expected to take approximately 20 to 25 minutes to complete. It is available in three formats:
Producer feedback will help CCIA better understand industry needs and establish priorities for the future of livestock traceability systems in Canada.
