Attention Young Guns: What does the future of beef look like?

It’s back! Alberta Beef Producers’ Young Guns Contest is set to roll for 2021, with a focus on agricultural innovations in the beef sector. We have a panel of beef industry judges, and some incredible cash prizes. All we need now, is your creativity!

Eligibility

To enter, applicants must be between the ages of eight and 21 (on July 30, 2021), and involved in Beef 4-H, junior cattle shows, or beef production.

As for the medium — show off your creativity! We’ll accept entries submitted in forms such as a written piece, presentation, video, social media campaign, blog post or media pitch.

Theme

This year we want you to look at what the future holds. What do you think will be the beef industry’s greatest innovation in the years to come?

Prizes

The top three submissions will receive a cash prize and (with permission) may be featured on ABP Daily

• 1st Place – $1,000
• 2nd Place – $500
• 3rd Place – $250

Deadline

To be eligible to win, submissions must be in by midnight, July 30, 2021. The winners will be determined by a panel of judges by August 16, 2021.
