Every year, Cleanfarms offers collection programs for obsolete pesticides and livestock/equine medications in specific regions across Canada. This year, those regions include southern Alberta.
From October 25 to October 29, 2021, Cleanfarms drop-off sites will be located in 20 communities:
Collection sites will be accepting unwanted agricultural pesticides (identified with a Pest Control Product number on the label), commercial pesticides for golf courses and industrial and commercial pest control products (also with a Pest Control Product number on the label), and livestock medications use in an agricultural context (identified with a DIN number, serial number, or Pest Control Product number on the label).
For more information on what’s in (and what’s out), and the hours of each site, head to cleanfarms.ca
