Canadian Cattle Young Leaders Program opens applications for 2025-2026

The Canadian Cattle Young Leaders (CYL) program is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 program year. If you’re between the ages of 18 and 35, and involved in any aspect of the beef supply chain, this is your chance to be paired with an industry leader for a nine-month mentorship.

The CYL program, established by the Canadian Cattle Association (CCA) in 2010, has already seen over 200 graduates. It offers participants unique opportunities for learning and travel, both domestically and internationally within the beef industry. Through mentorship, networking, and travel, the program aims to equip the next generation of leaders with the skills and tools needed to drive the growth and profitability of the Canadian beef industry.
