The Nuffield Canada Scholarship is a prestigious award designed for mid-career professionals involved in agriculture, whether in primary production, industry, or governance. This scholarship offers an exceptional opportunity for recipients to develop global perspectives, enhance their expertise, and build leadership capacity within agriculture.
Each year, Nuffield Canada awards up to six scholarships, each valued at $20,000, to passionate Canadians dedicated to advancing the agricultural sector. Scholars have the unique chance to travel anywhere in the world over a two-year period, spending at least 10 weeks studying their chosen topic, with six weeks of consecutive travel.
Upon returning from their travels, scholars are required to present their findings and recommendations in a formal written report of approximately 10,000 words, as well as a presentation at the Nuffield Canada Annual General Meeting. They are also encouraged to share their newly acquired knowledge through various channels at local, provincial, and national levels.
Applications are now open, and you can apply by visiting nuffield.ca/scholarships.
