Host registration open for Alberta Open Farm Days

Alberta Open Farm Days organizers are looking for farmers and ranchers interested in hosting Albertans August 13th and/or 14th, 2022.

Open Farm Days is a province-wide open house that showcases the Alberta’s agriculture industry by welcoming neighbours of all ages to participate in engaging and meaningful weekend events.

Last year, the event brought more than 12,000 Albertans to over 100 host farms. Since 2013, Open Farm Days has contributed close to $1 million into the rural economy, with nearly 150,000 people visiting over 800 Alberta farms.

Host farms have ranged from livestock to corn mazes to meaderies to u-picks.

Alberta Beef Producers has resources available to support Open Farm Days activities, and Open Farm Days will provide signage to direct visitors.

Host registration is open until May 31.
