Alberta Beef Producers (ABP) held its 2026 Annual General Meeting this week, bringing together delegates from across the province. In addition to reviewing the commission’s work, and voting on resolutions, delegates also elected six eligible producers to the ABP Board of Directors.

The first meeting of the 2026 Board of Directors was called to order at the end of the AGM, where Directors named the executive as:
ABP also held elections for Canadian Cattle Association (CCA) Board Members and one Beef Cattle Research Council representative.
Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s AGM, including those who joined in person, the cattle producers who put their names forward for elections, the more than 500 people who observed online for all or part of the meeting, and all who contributed to a successful meeting.
