The Olds Fall Classic once again brought together the best of Western Canada’s purebred cattle sector for a weekend of top-tier competition and community spirit.
Hosted at the Olds Regional Exhibition Megadome, the long-running event celebrates excellence across the purebred community—highlighting the work of breeders driving genetic improvement and run by dedicated volunteers.
The annual beef cattle showcase, held the first weekend in October, featured Angus, Charolais, Hereford, Limousin, Red Angus, Shorthorn, Simmental, AOB and Speckle Park shows —along with the Stars of Tomorrow Jackpot Show, spotlighting the next generation of elite breeding stock and prospect steers.
The open shows were judged by Brent Stewart of Russell, MB, and the jackpot shows were judged by Rodney and Tanya Hollman, who farm east of Innisfail, Alberta.
