Alberta 4-H has introduced a new program for members who want to expand their knowledge of the beef industry.
Exploring the Alberta & Canadian Beef Industry will give participants a comprehensive look at the many facets of beef production in the province and across the country.
From animal care and stewardship practices to supply chains, marketing, and the industry’s role in local and global food systems, this project will highlight the challenges, opportunities, and contributions of Canada’s beef sector.
This initiative is a way for 4-H members to connect their passion for livestock with a deeper understanding of how the beef industry works, while also exploring potential future career paths.
Please contact Tracy Dietrich at 4-H Alberta for details and to get involved.
