Norine Ambrose, Executive Director of Cows & Fish has been nominated to receive the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of her outstanding contributions to Canada, Alberta, and the local communities she serves.
The nomination for Ambrose, put forward by Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, highlights Ambrose’s dedication and impactful work in the region. Alberta Forestry & Parks has also extended their support for this nomination.
The program’s success under Ambrose’s leadership is attributed to the efforts of the staff and the Board of Directors. The Board includes members from Alberta Beef Producers, the Government of Alberta, Freshwater Conservation Canada, the Canadian Cattle Association, The Association of Alberta Agricultural Fieldmen, and Rural Municipalities of Alberta.
The King Charles III Coronation Medal is a commemorative award created to mark the coronation of King Charles III on May 6, 2023. It is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to Canada, their province, territory, or community.
