ABP announces 2023 Board of Directors

Following a successful Annual General Meeting, Alberta Beef Producers is pleased to announce the 2023 Board of Directors:

New Delegates

We have some new faces! ABP welcomes the following people to their first terms as delegates: John Doherty, Jana Harman, Brenda Rosadiuk, Karen Shaw, Gary Smith, Kelly Smith, and Miles Wowk.

The 2023 Board’s first meeting was called to order following the AGM, where Directors elected the Executive, with:

• Brodie Haugan as Chair,
• Sheila Hillmer as Vice Chair, and
• Fred Lozeman as Finance Chair.

In addition to networking with ABP delegates, AGM attendees heard updates from staff, saw discussion on resolutions, and had the privilege of hearing from the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Nate Horner.

BCRC and CCA Representatives

Beef Cattle Research Council (BCRC) and Canadian Cattle Association (CCA) representatives were also elected at the AGM. Congratulations to the following:
