Survey: Attitudes and motivations around cattle handling and training

Are you involved with handling beef cattle in Western Canada?

Researchers from the University of Calgary are looking for cow-calf producers and stock people/handlers, older than 18 years, with cattle handling experience in Western Canada, to participate in a short survey to explore their cattle handling experiences and perspectives on handling training.

By participating, you will have to change to win a $50 gift card.

Kara grew up on a grain farm near Bow Island, Alberta. After attending SAIT and the University of Calgary — where she obtained a degree in communication and media studies, and a diploma in broadcast news — Kara began her professional career working in agricultural communications and agricultural journalism. Kara now farms alongside her family and her husband on the family farm, where they raise a mix of livestock, crops, and barn cats.
