The Canadian Cattle Association is pleased to announce that Cailey Church has joined the CCA youth programs team as the Youth Leadership Coordinator in the Calgary head office. As the new Youth Leadership Coordinator, Cailey will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Canadian Cattle Young Leaders (CYL) program and the Canadian Cattle Youth Council. Jessica Radau will continue to support Youth programs by building partnerships with sponsors during her transition into the role of CCA’s Policy, Programs and Engagement Manager.
Church recently graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in animal science and minoring in rangeland resources. She was actively involved in her school community. She was Secretary and President of the University of Saskatchewan Beef Team and served as “Comployment” Officer (connected students with employers) and Public Relations Officer of the Agricultural Students Association.
Church’s immersion in the agriculture industry from a young age and her enthusiastic involvement in in the 4-H program helped foster the strong passion she has for the agriculture industry today. She spent the past two summers interning with the Beef Cattle Research Council and Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef.
