AgriStability enrolment deadline extended to June 30

In light of the recent changes to AgriStability, the enrolment deadline has been extended, without penalty, from April 30 to June 30, 2021.

The extension will give producers a chance to review the program following the removal of the reference margin limit, retroactive to the 2020 program year.

ABP welcomes decision on removal of AgriStability reference margin limit

Removing the reference margin limit will make it easier for agricultural operations with lower allowable expenses to trigger margin protection, when needed. It is an important step towards making AgriStability more accessible.

ABP encourages producers to review the changes with a financial planner to see if AgriStability works on their operation.
