Later this month, the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) joins the Nature Conservancy Canada (NCC) in hosting a virtual conversation series in anticipation of the upcoming United Nations Food Systems Summit. The Summit will be an influential policy discussion and CCA wants to ensure Canada’s livestock sector is part of the narrative.
This dialogue, entitled Grazing Livestock: Building Sustainable Protein Supply Chains, will explore grazing livestock and its role in building a sustainable protein supply chain. The event is intended to bring together a diverse set of stakeholders for a bold, solutions-oriented discussion for nutritious and sustainable diets. Attendees will hear from experts such as Dr. Christian Artuso, Dr. Tim McAllister, and a range of grazing livestock producers before breaking into small groups to discuss themes and contribute to the UN’s overarching goal of improving the food system.
CCA and NCC’s three part series will take place virtually from April 27 – April 29. If you’d like to learn more contact Lauren Martin.
