Save the date for local 4-H Achievement Days

Alberta 4-H participants are getting set for another round of Achievement Days.

Achievement Days mark the culmination of a year’s worth of hard work, dedication, and growth within 4-H clubs. These vibrant gatherings serve multiple purposes:

• Showcasing excellence: Here young 4-H members proudly display their projects, be it a prize steer, a meticulously crafted quilt, or a thriving vegetable garden. Achievement Days are the grand stage where their efforts shine.
• Leadership and decision making: Beyond the ribbons and trophies, Achievement day are a testament to leadership and decision-making skills. Members plan, organize, and execute these events, drawing upon the very essence of 4-H principles.
• Public engagement: Achievement Days aren’t just for those involved with 4-H. They’re an invitation to the wider community. Neighbors, families, and curious onlookers gather to witness the fruits of 4-H labour. It’s a chance to showcase not only the results, but also the journey that is taken.

There are a number of Achievement Days across the province. Below you’ll find a list of Achievement Days for groups with livestock.
